D365 Consultant

Reporting to our Head of D365, we are looking to appoint a contract-based Microsoft D365 Consultant within our Dynamics 365 & Power Platform practice.

As a proven D365 Consultant, with at least 5 years project lead experience, you will be working with our membership clients on the implementation of Dynamics 365 projects utilising MemEx, our Membership Experience Platform. Although the role is homebased it would be advantageous to live within a manageable commuting distance of Bristol, so a once a week office visit is practical in the future.

What will you be doing?

  • Working with the project management office (PMO) to scope, define and deliver projects on time and on budget, ensuring that we deliver to our core value of innovation.
  • Running, and partaking in, client workshops to gather requirements and form an understanding of project deliverables, business processes and feature / function needs.
  • Documenting requirements for client sign off, whilst adhering to PMO processes to ensure a consistence approach.
  • Configuring and implementing D365 to meet clients requirements.
  • Develop and configure solutions utilising D365 and Power Platform technology solutions.
 

  • Creating technical specifications and liaising with software developers for the implementation of custom code where required.
  • Working with the commercial team to provide technical input and assistance with new business, ensuring that the solutions proposed deliver to the client’s expectations.
  • Conducting end-user training and running user acceptance testing sessions with clients.
  • Provide end-user and technical support for D365 services.
Your Technical Capabilities

  • Functional solution design for customisation - process, report and integration.
  • Power Platform including Power Automate, Canvas Apps and Model Apps.
  • Data Migration experience.
  • Business Intelligence, reporting and Power BI skills.
  • Microsoft Certifications.
Your Business Skills

  • Experience of running client workshops with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to produce clear and concise project documentation – FRD, FDD, User guide, Fit-gap specification documents.
  • Exceptional organisational and management skills.
  • A positive can-do attitude is essential.
  • Experience of the membership or the not-for-profit sectors would be highly advantageous.

  • Thorough and systematic approach to work.
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to produce high quality analytical outputs.
  • Friendly and passionate about D365.
