Role 1 - Umbraco Developer

We are looking for a .NET developer with a minimum of three years’ experience working with Microsoft .NET and Umbraco. We are looking for self-motivated confident problem solvers that have an appreciation of the business problems that your software solutions are solving.

Experience of working with modern complex web-based solutions built around Umbraco is essential as you will be contributing to an exciting innovative product development roadmap with our MemEx platform, that targets the third sector with an integrated Dynamics 365 and Umbraco solution.

MemEx is Wattle’s proven ‘Membership Experience’ Platform, delivering unrivalled end to end membership management for membership organisations of all types.

MemEx unifies two of the sectors most popular cloud technologies, Umbraco's CMS for website and member self-service portal development and Microsoft's Dynamics 365 CRM for end to end membership management.

What you will be doing

  • Working within a team of software developers on projects created within the .NET Framework, primarily on web-based projects.
  • Working with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Team Foundation services for continuous integration and development.
  • Developing unit tests to ensure the quality of code produced
  • Taking part in sprint planning, sprint retrospectives and daily stand ups with the associated project teams
  • Using JIRA to track the progress of work being conducted
  • Using time sheeting tools to record time spent on projects
  • Proactively learning about new technology and developments that will benefit the team, the business and our clients
  • Engaging in training and learning to expand your knowledge around the products and frameworks we use.


Your skills 

• C# (3 years)
• ASP.NET MVC (3 years)
• Microsoft SQL Server (1 year)
• TFS
• Continuous integration, continuous deployment and continuous delivery
• Unit testing
• Modern software design patterns
• HTML / CSS / JavaScript (3 years)
• Umbraco experience
• A positive can-do attitude is essential

Role 2 - Developer - Fintech project

We are looking for a .NET developer with a minimum three years experience working with Microsoft .NET on web-based projects. We are looking for self-motivated confident problem solvers that have an appreciation of the business problems that your software solutions are solving.


The role will sit within a team that is working on innovative financial technology products within the insurance sector, with clients such as Hiscox and Tesco Insurance. You will be working on an exciting end to end greenfield rebuild of the product stack creating a bespoke multi tenanted SaS platform hosted on Microsoft Azure.

What you will be doing

  • Working within a team of software developers on projects created within the .NET Framework, primarily on web-based projects.
  • Working with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Team Foundation services for continuous integration and development.
  • Developing unit tests to ensure the quality of code produced
  • Taking part in sprint planning, sprint retrospectives and daily stand ups with the associated project teams
